Teambuilding Testimonials

Employee Orientation Teambuilding Event at Liberty Ridge Farm,
August 2010 (www.libertyridgefarmny.com)

From Cynthia Gifford, owner of Liberty Ridge Farm in Schaghticoke, NY, winner of the Best of NYS Agritourism Award:

“I am not much for words but....You did an awesome job last night! Best ever! Two thumbs up! You heard what my goals were and developed some great teambuilding exercises to meet those goals. Brandon, one of our seasoned corn cops, said there was more participation and enthusiasm than any other orientation we’ve held. Best yet you have reiterated some comments I had made earlier in the evening to the group about exceeding customers expectations.

You definitely exceeded my expectations!! Thank you.”

Letter from Sanada Bailey and Matthew Cipperly, Tamarac Girls’ Varsity and Junior Varsity
Soccer Coaches
:

October 22, 2010

Dear Terrie Gifford,

We’d like to thank you for all your help and cooperation in planning our Junior Varsity and Varsity Girls’ Soccer trip to Liberty Ridge Farms. The teambuilding session you ran for us was a wonderful experience that has proven to be extremely beneficial. The social barriers that were separating the two groups have diminished because of you. They have come together in a variety of ways demonstrating how much they’ve learned and grown from our trip. The Tamarac Girls’ Soccer Teams are now going to each other’s games and creating posters and messages to show their support.

Once again we thank you for all your help and support and look forward to planning our next event with you.

Sincerely,
Sanada Bailey and Matthew Cipperly

Comments from the girls’ team building evaluation forms:

What experience made you feel challenged?

Working together in the corn maze. We had to communicate effectively without arguing in order to decide which way to go.”

The Trust Walking because you needed to give someone else your complete trust not to let you bump into anything.”

What did you learn from this experience?

Everything is easier when you work as a team.”

I learned that teams shouldn’t have cliques.”

What surprised you?

The girls from varsity worked with us instead of ignoring us the whole time.”

How did the facilitator work to achieve the goals of your group?

She talked with us about our performance and what we can do to be better, because it’s a lot of mental work to play a sport like soccer.”

She helped us learn to trust one another and she showed us that we have more in common with each other than we think.”

She laughed with us, pushed us to our limits and really related to our team. She was awesome.”

She had great energy and a positive attitude.”
